Mark has been in tech for over 2 decades. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded and exited a SaaS start-up during the first dot-com boom. Always passionate about disruptive technology and seeking out green-field projects Mark has been involved with a number of “firsts” in the industry – digital music video producer for LooseGroove Records, co-producer of internet “audio broadcasts” from the Paramount Theater and the Showbox, founding member of the special projects launch team for MSNBC joint venture, founding member of MSN Mungo Park, founding member of the Application Consulting, and Engineering (ACE) team an internal cybersecurity group at Microsoft. Most recently Mark was instrumental in the successful development and deployment of OmniBallot Tablet an off-the-shelf HAVA compliant, accessible ballot marking device enfranchising voters with disabilities. OmniBallot Tablet has been deployed in over 1000 elections. Mark has worked and consulted for Microsoft, Amazon, Qwest Communications, Fluke Networks, Xerox, many SMBs, and multiple Legal Aid clinics across the country. Mark is currently the Chief Security Officer for Democracy Live and security consultant for Web3 start-ups.
