Evan Newell is a Professor in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, specializing in human T cell responses. He earned his B.S. in Immunology from McGill University and Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Toronto, followed by a post-doc at Stanford University. His lab develops experimental and computational methods to identify biomarkers in infectious diseases and cancer. As Scientific Director of the Fred Hutchinson Innovation Lab (FHIL), he advances cancer immunotherapy research through new technologies.
